We have the "Holy Grail" of Chili Mac. We were first introduced to chili mac at the original chili parlor located on Erie Street in Toledo Ohio back in 1943. We had never tasted anything that we liked better. From that day forward we were regular customers.We tried for years, without success, to obtain the recipe. In a chance meeting we received the recipe from a friend who had bought it for a frozen carryout item at local grocery stores. Since, we have been preparing that recipe for groups & individuals for some 30 years with great success. Along with our love for chili mac & the reception from people who have tried it, we longed to open a hot dog & chili mac restaurant, but lacked the knowledge & experience to do so. Our desire became reality when we teamed up with two well known Toledo restauranteurs & here we are today.
